Basketball Recap: West Bend West Comes Up Short

West Bend West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 70-35 defeat at the hands of the Cedarburg Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 84th).

West Bend West's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Cedarburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

West Bend West has already played their next contest, a 49-38 defeat against Kewaskum on the 13th. As for Cedarburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 78-49 loss against Hartford on the 13th.
