Northeast waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 64-52 win over the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northeast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sharif Wallace led the charge by putting up nine points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Wallace is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Bobby Perry was another key player, earning 20 points.

Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aazim Moses, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aziz Collins, who had 14 points.

Northeast now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Northeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-66 defeat against Benjamin Franklin on the 16th. As for Science Leadership Academy at Beeber, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-56 victory against Olney on the 17th.
