If Bearden was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Rhea County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Baylor Red Raiders by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Baylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bearden will welcome Halls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Baylor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farragut at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
