Eric Cisneros Dazzles in Palmer Win

Starting off the list is Palmer's Eric Cisneros, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cisneros rushed for 241 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 135 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes. Those 241 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The win was the fourth in a row for Palmer, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Cisneros and Palmer will look to defend their home field on Friday against Life Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m.

Life Oak Cliff now has a winning record of 4-3. Phillips' next contest is against Palmer on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Jatavion Smith-Adams Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Thursday, Life Oak Cliff got the W thanks in part to Jatavion Smith-Adams playing the best football he has all season. Life Oak Cliff is 3-1 when Smith-Adams posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Pottsboro's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cardinals challenges Pilot Point at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
