Volleyball Recap: Jennings County Takes a Loss

Jennings County saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Woodmen.

Greenwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Thanga, who had 15 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Jonas Thang, who had seven digs and two aces.

Jennings County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Greenwood, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.

Jennings County has already played their next match (against Bloomington South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus East on the 10th.
