Volleyball Game Preview: Alief Hastings Bears vs. Fulshear Chargers

Alief Hastings is 0-4 against Fulshear since August of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bears will challenge the Chargers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alief Hastings lost 3-0 to Alief Taylor on Friday.

Meanwhile, Fulshear didn't have quite enough to beat George Ranch on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Longhorns 25-18 in the first set.

Fulshear started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 16-25, 25-14, 25-18, 15-13.

Alief Hastings' loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Fulshear, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-9.

Alief Hastings might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Fulshear when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
