Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. East Marion breezed past North Forrest to the tune of 38-6. The victory continues a trend for East Marion in their matchups with North Forrest: they've now won six in a row.

East Marion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bentley Blansett, who threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 36 yards and one TD. Blansett's passing game has become a key predictor of East Marion's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. East Marion's leading receiver Jadon Rawls was Blansett's top target yet again, picking up 82 receiving yards and two scores.

East Marion now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Forrest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
