Softball Recap: Stuttgart Comes Up Short

Stuttgart came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Baptist Prep Eagles. The Ricebirds haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Stuttgart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shiloh O'Neal, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Stuttgart's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Baptist Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Stuttgart will welcome Lonoke at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baptist Prep, they will head out to challenge Two Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
