Volleyball Game Preview: Blazer Tomcats vs. Rowan County Vikings + Official Tickets

Blazer has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Rowan County has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Tomcats will host the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Blazer will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Boyd County, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tomcats blew past the Lions 3-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Rowan County hadn't done well against Russell recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings skirted past the Red Devils 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since September 20th.

Blazer's victory bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Rowan County, their win bumped their record up to 21-5.

Everything went Blazer's way against Rowan County when the teams last played back in August, as Blazer made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Tomcats repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
