Narraguagus is still undefeated this season after their contest against Machias on Wednesday, but Machias came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Knights came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bulldogs. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Knights have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Ben Thompson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Max Worcester was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The Patriots will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
