Dexter had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came out on top against the Saline Hornets by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 on Monday.

Dexter got a great performance from Mason McAllister as he struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Those ten strikeouts gave McAllister a new career-high.

At the plate, Chance Sobbry was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Dexter pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Saline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3.

Dexter will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
