It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pine Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of Mulberry by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Pine Ridge has suffered since April 24, 2024.

Abiezer Robledo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Loren Cheatham was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine Ridge and nudges their season record down to 13-11-2. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Mulberry, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-8.
