Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They really took it to Lyons-Decatur Northeast for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-28 victory at home. That 61-28 margin sets a new team best for Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family this season.

Leading Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family to victory were Faith Korth and Claire Korth. Korth scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and three steals, while Korth scored 18 points along with six steals and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Korth has scored at least 25% of Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellee Hanzel, who scored seven points along with seven assists.

Despite the defeat, Lyons-Decatur Northeast saw an underclassman step up: Tavyanna Parker scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Parker scored a full 57.1% of Lyons-Decatur Northeast's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Lyons-Decatur Northeast struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family pulled down 21 offensive rebounds.

The win makes it two in a row for Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Scotus on December 19th. Scotus has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Lyons-Decatur Northeast and Winside will face off on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
