Volleyball Recap: Hazel Green Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Hazel Green, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Buckhorn Bucks on Thursday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Bucks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Hazel Green walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 12-25, 28-26.

Leading Hazel Green to victory were Camryn Collier and Carmella Ragucci. Collier had 23 digs and six assists, while Ragucci had nine digs. That's the most digs Collier has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Jordan Stone and Sarai McKenzie certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Stone had 23 digs and two aces, while McKenzie had 16 assists and 14 digs. Stone has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. Jamaria Raheal also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
