Iberia entered their tilt with Richland on Saturday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 59-52 win over the Richland Bears. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 39-32 win two weeks ago.

Iberia was led to victory by Alexa Rowden and Jaylyn Piggott. Rowden dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards, while Piggott dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Piggott is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Acelyn Bauer, who posted ten points.

Iberia's record is now 20-7. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Iberia will challenge Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwood will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Iberia surely won't give up without a fight. Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
