Football Game Recap: Morton/White Pass vs. Onalaska

Onalaska won the last time they faced Morton/White Pass, and things went their way on Friday, too. Onalaska steamrollered Morton/White Pass 46-6. Followers of Onalaska probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

The game started off well for Onalaska, whose offense put up 34 first-half points. Morton/White Pass countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 34-6 going into the half. Onalaska put the contest away in the third quarter with 12 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 6-0. The loss dropped Morton/White Pass' record to 4-1.

Onalaska will take on Rainier at home at 7:00 PM next week. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Onalaska skips in on six wins and Rainier on five. As for Morton/White Pass, they will face off against Napavine. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
