Wheatland's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Foothill, their loss dropped their record down to 22-9.
Looking ahead, Wheatland is taking a road trip to face off against Roseville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
