Soccer Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short

New Brockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bullock County Hornets. That's two games in a row now that New Brockton have lost by just one goal.

New Brockton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bullock County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.

Looking ahead, New Brockton is taking a road trip to challenge Long at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Long will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something New Brockton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bullock County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dale County on the 17th.
