Basketball Recap: Roscoe Comes Up Short

Roscoe and Morton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Roscoe had to settle for second. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morton Indians.

Roscoe's loss dropped their record down to 29-7. As for Morton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season.

Roscoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morton, they will challenge New Home on Monday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with New Home sitting on 12 straight wins and Morton on three.
