Baseball Recap: Waseca Comes Up Short

Waseca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Waseca's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center], their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Waseca will take on St. Peter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center], they will host Sibley East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
