Carroll's game  on Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warsaw Tigers, sneaking past  7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Chargers have posted  since April 1st.
Carroll got a great performance from  Aaron Behnfeldt as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched. Behnfeldt has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jaxon Sparks, who  got on base  in five of his seven plate appearances with one  home run and two  RBI. What's more,  he posted three  hits, the most he's  had since April 4th. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eric Tratnyek, who  got on base  in three of his seven plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Carroll's record now sits at 8-6. As for Warsaw, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-4.
 Looking ahead, Carroll will host Norwell  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Warsaw, they will take on Northridge at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 7.5  runs per game this season.
