Volleyball Recap: Basha Falls Short Against Ranked Perry

Basha faced Perry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Pumas. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pumas from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 17-25, 25-14, 25-14.

K'Lei Noah paced Basha's offense, picking up nine kills. Noah got some help from Kaylie Lynar and her 17 assists.

Basha moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Basha has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Culver City on the 25th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Santa Margarita on the 26th.
