As for Wilmington, their record is now 14-5. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

On Wilmington's side, Taryn Gilbert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Gilbert posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Taylor Stefancic was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Molly Southall, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

While Lisle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
