Basketball Recap: Center Comes Up Short

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hudson Hornets. While the Roughriders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 11-7 in the first quarter.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Hudson, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will welcome Madisonville at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Center has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests. Hudson has already played their next game (against Bullard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
