Basketball Recap: Terrance Jordan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tok over Cordova

Tok played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Cordova Wolverines, falling 61-40. Tok has struggled against Cordova recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Tok lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Terrance Jordan, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Marvin Captain was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Even though they lost, Tok smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Tok's record now sits at 0-3. As for Cordova, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Tok wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-53 defeat against Delta on the 14th. As for Cordova, they will host Glennallen at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
