Softball Recap: Workman Comes Up Short

After flying high against La Puente on Thursday, Workman came back down to earth. The Lobos came up short against the Southlands Christian Eagles on Friday, falling 18-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-4 back in February.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Southlands Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Workman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-10 victory against Wilson on the 31st. As for Southlands Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Cornerstone Christian on the 31st.
