Baseball Recap: Bossier Takes a Loss

Bossier managed to slip by Plain Dealing the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bossier Bearkats lost 19-12 to the Plain Dealing Lions on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

With the defeat, Bossier broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Plain Dealing, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Bossier will face off against Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Plain Dealing, they are taking a road trip to challenge Glenbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plain Dealing has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
