Baseball Recap: Naylor Comes Up Short

Naylor fell victim to Van Buren and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Naylor now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Van Buren, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Naylor will square off against Holcomb at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Van Buren, they will challenge Summersville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
