Softball Game Preview: Kankakee Kays vs. Bloom Blazing Trojan

For the second straight game, Kankakee will face off against Bloom. The Kays will be playing at home against the Blazing Trojan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kankakee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Kankakee is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bloom just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Blazing Trojan by a score of 2-1.

Kankakee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Glogowski, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

The win was the fourth in a row for Bloom, bringing their record up to 12-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kankakee, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 8-8.
