Basketball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Beats Northern Cambria for Their Sixth Straight Win

Conemaugh Valley had won five straight games and Lance Masser did his part to make it six on Monday. The Blue Jays walked away with a 63-50 victory over the Northern Cambria Colts for which the team can thank Masser, who posted 27 points. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Julian Dietz was another key player, putting up nine points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Conemaugh Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Northern Cambria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Conemaugh Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Conemaugh Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Jays' defense better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 60.1 points per game this season. As for Northern Cambria, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against United at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
