Baseball Preview: Wayne Badgers vs. Panguitch Bobcats        
        
		
             Wayne hasn't had much luck against Panguitch recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Wayne Badgers will host the Panguitch Bobcats  at 3:00  p.m. Wayne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game  this season.
 Having struggled with three  defeats in a row, Wayne finally turned things around against Pinnacle  on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Panthers  6-5.
  Blake Peterson was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  doubles, a  stolen base, and  an  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Russell VanDyke, who  went 1-for-4 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Panguitch had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.1 runs), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They never let the Pirates onto the board and left with  a   17-0  victory. Considering the Bobcats have won 15 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Wayne's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-11. As for Panguitch, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with that  victory, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season.
