Volleyball Preview: West Fork Gators vs. Porter Spartans
The West Fork Gators are taking a road trip to take on the Porter Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Fork is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, West Fork made easy work of Dayton and carried off a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Porter sidestepped Crosby for a 3-2 victory.
Porter was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (98-97), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 11-25, 25-22, 15-7.
West Fork is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season. As for Porter, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.
