Recap: Christian Educational Consortium Cougars vs. Bluegrass Blazers
The Christian Educational Consortium Cougars were not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bluegrass. Christian Educational Consortium was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bluegrass apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Christian Educational Consortium saw an underclassman step up: Jenna Wyndham scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Wynder, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Christian Educational Consortium's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Bluegrass, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
Christian Educational Consortium will take on Evansville HomeSchool at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Christian Educational Consortium focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. Bluegrass does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
