Football Recap: New Miami Comes Up Short

New Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Purcell Marian Cavaliers 49-8. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

New Miami's record is now 2-5. As for Purcell Marian, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Miami will welcome St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Purcell Marian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. The Cavaliers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
