Recap: Atlas HomeSchool R Rattlers vs. Columbus Crusaders
On Saturday, Atlas HomeSchool R took a serious blow against Columbus Crusaders, falling 38-7. While losing is never fun, Atlas HomeSchool R can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 898th in Texas, while Columbus Crusaders is ranked 230th in Ohio).
When it comes to explaining why Atlas HomeSchool R lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alex Hale. Despite the final result, he gained 172 total yards and a touchdown.
Atlas HomeSchool R has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Columbus Crusaders, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
