Softball Recap: Alleghany Takes a Loss

Alleghany lost against Brookville back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 13-10 to the Bees. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alleghany's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Brookville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alleghany will head out to face off against Radford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookville, they will venture away from home to square off against Amherst County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Bees' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
