There's no place like home for Aberdeen Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huron Tigers on Saturday. That looming 3-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Eagles yet this season.

The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Lauryn Burckhard paced Aberdeen Central's offense, picking up 21 kills. Burckhard got some help from Alivia Miller and her 22 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Aberdeen Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Huron, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
