Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flower Mound). They never let the Braswell Bengals get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Bengals are ranked 418th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Flower Mound's fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Braswell, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Flower Mound will host Marcus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Braswell, they will head out to take on Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coppell's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Braswell's offense will have their work cut out for them.
