Baseball Recap: Sherman Comes Up Short

Sherman fell victim to Man and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Hillbillies by a score of 2-0. The Tide haven't had much luck with the Hillbillies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sherman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Tagliente, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Sherman now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Man, they moved to 11-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherman will take on Tolsia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tide are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Man, they will face off against Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
