Baseball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Caney Eagles. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Cleveland saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keith Schulz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for New Caney, their win bumped their record up to 7-15-1.

While Cleveland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
