Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thatcher). Everything went their way against the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks on Tuesday as the Thatcher Eagles made off with an 8-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Thatcher pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three contests. As for Andrada Polytechnic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Thatcher wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on the 9th. Andrada Polytechnic has also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Safford on the 9th.
