Basketball Game Preview: Dayton Bulldogs vs. Colton Wildcats

Dayton is 0-4 against Colton since January of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Dayton Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Colton Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Dayton is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Oakesdale and fell 60-9. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Colton entered their tilt with Pomeroy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 38-28.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Colton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Dayton took a serious blow against Colton in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 59-32. Can Dayton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
