Softball Recap: Galion Tigers vs. Colonel Crawford Eagles
Galion scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Colonel Crawford Eagles as the Galion Tigers made off with a 12-2 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Madison Beck tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
At the plate, Kaitylyn McKee was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Cecilia "CeCe" Campbell, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Galion has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Colonel Crawford, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
