Soccer Game Preview: Mifflin County vs. Gettysburg

Mifflin County hasn't had much luck against Gettysburg recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Huskies will challenge the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Mifflin County turned things around against Waynesboro on Monday. They never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Gettysburg sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Greencastle-Antrim on Monday.

The win got Gettysburg back to even at 6-6. As for Mifflin County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Mifflin County couldn't quite get it done against Gettysburg in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
