Softball Recap: Mater Dei Sets Scoring Season-High Against San Juan Hills

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mater Dei). They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the San Juan Hills Stallions on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory snapped Mater Dei's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-6-1 record. As for San Juan Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Mater Dei and San Juan Hills will both be playing Burroughs the next time they take the field. Mater Dei will host Burroughs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while San Juan Hills will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
