Recap: Ranchview Wolves vs. Celina Bobcats
The Ranchview Wolves lost against the Celina Bobcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ranchview had to suffer through a rough 55-27 loss at the hands of Celina. Ranchview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ranchview's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadyn Smith, who scored seven points.
Ranchview has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 17 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Celina, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-12.
Ranchview will be playing at home against Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Panther Creek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ranchview in Texas (Panther Creek is ranked 118th, while Ranchview is ranked 845th). As for Celina, they will head out on the road to face off against Anna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Anna is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
