The Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans are taking a road trip to face off against the Bisbee Pumas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leading Edge Academy - GEC will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They rang in the new year with a 44-32 win over Kingman Academy.

Corynn Foster and Hayley Foster were among the main playmakers for Leading Edge Academy - GEC as the former went 8 of 11 en route to 19 points and the latter went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilee Vuckovich, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Bisbee ultimately got the result they hoped for back in December of 2024. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Desert Christian 42-40.

The win got Bisbee back to even at 6-6. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC skirted past Bisbee 41-39 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leading Edge Academy - GEC since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
