Softball Recap: Coahoma Bulldogs vs. Grandview Zebras

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Coahoma had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the Grandview Zebras 3-2. Coahoma's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hannah Wells spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 17 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Brynn Rodgers was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Coahoma's victory bumped their record up to 32-0. As for Grandview, their defeat dropped their record down to 32-4.

As of now, neither Coahoma nor Grandview have any future games scheduled.
