Baseball Recap: Rampart Takes a Loss

Rampart fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Vista Ridge on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 13-8 to the Wolves. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 5, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Duke Pingrey was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Valdez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Rampart's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Vista Ridge, their record is now 8-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rampart beat the Wolves by a score of 9-5 on Thursday.
