Baldwin entered their tilt with Bethel Park on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Black Hawks 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Highlanders have posted since March 15th.

Camryn Temme spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ryley Shaw was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Jordan Gerendash was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Bethel Park, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Baldwin will take on rival Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bethel Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Black Hawks are on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Jaguars a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
